About Us:

Sevits Logging LLC is a family-owned logging and land management company based in Fremont, Indiana. We serve landowners throughout Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. We specialize in thoughtful, responsible logging services that focus on the long-term health of the land, not just short-term results.

At the heart of our work is a simple belief: the land deserves respect. Every project has a story, a purpose, and a future, and our job is to help landowners care for it in a way that aligns with their goals. Whether that means improving access, managing timber, restoring habitat, or planning for the future, we approach each project with care, honesty, and intention.

Our Story:

Sevits Logging was build on hard work, integrity, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. What began as a passion for working in the woods grew into a business rooted in trust, relationships, and stewardship. Over time, we've had the privilege of working alongside landowners, conservation groups, Scouts of America, and families who value doing things the right way.

We understand that logging and land work can feel overwhelming or misunderstood. That's why we take the time to walk properties, answer questions, and explain the process clearly. Our goal is not to just complete a job, but to leave landowners confident in the decisions made for their property.

What We Do:

We provide a range of logging and land management services designed to improve forest health, usability, and safety. Our work includes land clearing, forestry mulching, storm damage cleanup, forest management, selective cutting, whitetail management, and brush and deadwood removal.

Every project is evaluated individually. No two properties are the same, and we don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. We focus on thoughtful planning, careful execution, and results that benefit both the land and the people who care for it.

Faith, family, and integrity guide everything we do. We believe in honest work, clear communication, and standing behind our word. Our team values relationships just as much as results, and many of our clients become long-term partners through shared trust and respect.

Who We Are:

Joe and Lindsay Sevits built Sevits Logging on shared values of hard work, family, and faith. They have known each other since elementary school. Though their story wasn't love at first site, they began to bond over common interests such as FFA, the outdoors, and wildlife, grew and grew. For the past 10 years, they have been devoted to each other and that common love for the outdoors and the land sprouted into a life and business rooted in trust, integrity, and purpose.

As a family owned company,  we believe our Christian faith should be reflected in how we treat people, care for the land, and stand behind our word. 

 

Where We Work:

Sevits Logging is based in Fremont, Indiana, and proudly serves properties within approximately 5 hours of Fremont. Most of our work takes place throughout Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan, but we are always happy to discuss projects outside of that range.
