Joe Sevits
Joe is the heart behind Sevits Logging LLC. As the owner and operator of Sevits Logging LLC, Logging isn't just his profession- it's what he knows and loves. Joe has a deep understanding of forests and land management, paired with a strong respect for how the land should be cared for and restored.
Joe is known for his constant smile, steady leadership, attention to detail, and hands-on approach to every project. He takes pride in doing things the right way, building trust with landowners, and seeing each job through with integrity and purpose.
Above all else, Joe is a devoted husband and father. His family is his greatest motivation, and everything he builds- in business and in life- is done with his wife and daughter in mind.

Noah Sevits
Although you won't find Noah Sevits on every job (since we subcontract him), he's always a joy to have around when we do get him. Noah is Joe's younger brother and shares a very similar background- he knows trees inside and out, just like his older brother.
Noah is incredibly creative, and honestly, we often joke that he should've become an engineer. His mind just works that way. He is also full of humor- which just makes every day easier to get through.
Beyond the woods, Noah is a highly talented welder and leatherworker. He is the owner of Fat Pipeliner Leatherworks, and when we say he can make anything we mean it.
While Noah does love trees, his passion lies in the pipeline work. Still, between jobs and hobbies, he finds a little time to jump in with us on projects that matter the most. And when he does, we're better for it.

James King
Our most commonly subcontracted help, James has been a lifelong friend of Joe's and has truly become "Uncle James" to our little girl. He's selfless, loyal, and a workhorse through and through.
When James isn't running a saw, he's volunteering with the local fire department or helping in our community. From a young age, he was always out in the woods with his dad, and he eventually earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He also volunteered with 4H for many years - which is actually where he and Joe first became friends.
James brings incredible talent, heart, and reliability to our crew. He's a blessing to this business and one of the best friends we could ask for.

Lindsay Sevits
While Lindsay might not be the one running a chainsaw, she's an essential part of the Sevits Logging behind the scenes. With a strong background in leadership and office management, Lindsay handles the business's marketing, communication, and customer relations with care and intention.
She has a natural gift for connecting with people and keeping the heart of the business rooted in family, faith, and service. Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys Bible study, homesteading, cooking, motherhood, and her part-time job working with children. She also is passionate about forestry, hunting, and time spent outdoors with her family, poultry, and dogs.
Once her daughter is grown, Lindsay hopes to return to school to pursue a degree in Forestry.

Brady Vail
Brady Vail is another subcontracted helping hand we're lucky to work with from time to time. Brady and Joe first connected over their shared love of trees- what started as simple "tree talk" quickly grew into a lifelong friendship.
Many summer days, when Joe finally slows down enough to take a day off, are spent with Brady and his family. That friendship has become something truly special. honestly, he is more family at this point.
Brady is the owner of Vail Wood Products LLC, a local sawmill based out of Hamilton, IN, known for creating one of a kind live edge pieces. His passion for his craft shows in every piece he touches.
Brady is the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. When he meets someone new, he can usually befriend them in less than 30 seconds. His charisma is unmated.

Jesus Figueroa (Bert)
Jesus- often affectionately known as Bert- is another subcontractor we absolutely love to bring in on the big jobs. He's an incredible equipment operator, but an even better friend.
From cranes to chainsaws, there's not much he can't run- and no project he hasn't mastered. Jesus brings years of experience in both trees and management, and it shows in everything he does.
Beyond his skills and our friendship, Jesus is just an all-around great human being. He's a devoted dad to two beautiful kids, and you'll often find him taking walks with his family or cheering his on his daughter at ballet practice. Our daughter, Arbor, has a soft spot for him and lovingly calls him "Zeus."
It's not common these days to find someone like him- a loyal friend, a family man, and someone with a work ethic that can't be matched. We're always grateful (and honestly blessed) when we get the chance to work alongside him.

Arbor Sevits
Arbor is the youngest (and arguably the cutest) member of Sevits Logging crew. She can often be found tagging along on job sites, measuring trees with her tape measure, and inspecting sticks like a seasoned forester.
While her contributions might be more playful than practical, Arbor brings unmatched joy, laughter, and heart to every estimate, job site, and customer visit. She reminds us why we do what we do- for family, for her future, and for the love of the land.
